Never get FP’d with a moderately controversial topic. Your inbox will hurt
I made a mistake and am justifying it, apparently
Old BMWs are way better buys than new Mustangs
True car enthusiasts always buy the biggest engine offered in any car
EDIT: chill folks, I’m just making fun of FP commenters. I’m not ‘salty’, I found today to be hilarious

Oh the fame and glory! Isn’t it nice?

5. If you have no desire to learn how to drive stick, you’re not a true enthusiast.

you kinda shot yourself in the foot bashing the V6 while touting the boosted 4, but meh. its the FP. what did you expect? honestly?

“OMG y u buy brand new car wen u can get old beat 2 shit car 4 weigh less money.”

This is the reason why the 1.0l Ecoboost mustang is a brilliant idea.

Damn, you’re really salty over this 5.0 / ecoboost / 6 thing huh? Three posts about the same thing. Dude, get over it. No one cares, and you’re taking it to heart.
You enjoy your car and that’s all that matters.

I read it. It was a good piece.
Haters going to hate.

5. You should have bought the V8

Can you imagine the breathless outrage if you’d opted for an EB manual? OY!
![]() 03/28/2016 at 18:45 |

Silly man. You should know better than to buy what you like instead of what internet experts say you should like.

you spelled muniez wrong.

Some people have to beat up on others online to feel better about themselves (I just like to give you shit about KU). Personally, I think it’s a cool car, and absolutely the right color. Honestly, who cares what we all think, if you love it that’s all that matters.

I can’t imagine the flack I’ll get if the Camaro Turbo impresses me enough to spend a few more bucks on one over a FiST, for not getting the LT1.

I'm in there now talking trash to the front pagers. Idiots.
![]() 03/28/2016 at 19:09 |

I’d buy that in 8 years after the depreciation is gone.

I thought that's what I did....WHAT DID I BUY?!

![]() 03/28/2016 at 19:29 |

I know. I guess that's what I get for getting my oil changed at the dealer like some kinda scrub
![]() 03/28/2016 at 19:30 |

It's fun, isn't it?!
![]() 03/28/2016 at 19:30 |

“Fame”
![]() 03/28/2016 at 19:31 |

![]() 03/28/2016 at 19:31 |

Then if I got a V8: Y NO ATS-V R CORVETTE, ONLY 20K MORE
![]() 03/28/2016 at 19:32 |

YOU COULD HAVE IMPORTED AN R32 WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU
![]() 03/28/2016 at 19:37 |

It’s funny how that escalated yet just a few years ago the V6 Mustang was being heralded as the second coming of Christ.

On an honest note, the thought has crossed my mind. Not realistically though. On the same note of 4 cylinder pony cars, I might be eating crow soon, so you’ll be happy to hear that. I think I may have given Logan the idea that the world is ending.

In my experience, dealerships don't charge any more than jiffy lube for oil changes.

I think you need that “Internet Experts” in quotes. I don’t recall to many actual reviewers hating on the Ecoboost (except the name, which is dumb)
![]() 03/28/2016 at 20:01 |

Good point. The quote marks were definitely implied but I should have put them on there while I could still edit.

Chevy charged $40? Maybe $50? Sometimes it was a little more expensive. Ford sent me some coupons for like $20.
Doing it myself means lifting the car, crawling under it, probably getting dirty, having to find somewhere to get rid of the oil, buying oil, buying a drain pan, etc. Going to the dealer? I let them take the car for 30 minutes, get some coffee, ogle new cars, then leave. It’s great!

Come, join us. The powerslides are fun.

The biggest problem with the Camaro is the lack of hand brake.
![]() 03/28/2016 at 21:02 |
|
Christ, I had to restrain myself on that one.
![]() 03/28/2016 at 21:06 |

Why? What do you need a handbrake for?
![]() 03/28/2016 at 21:26 |

Obviously:
I’m only joking. I’m a bad person because I never use mine, as it doesn’t work.

When I bought my GTI - WHY NO GOLF R? Um, since it cost $7k+ more equipped like my fully loaded GTI (excluding the fact they don’t discount the R’s) plus it doesn’t look any better or offer that much more fun. Also doesn’t offer a sunroof and the GTI’s got a nice large one. The GTI’s red highlights all over (including stitching all over inside)make it stand out just a little more than the Golf R’s silver accents, especially on a silver car.

Agreed. I like turning a wrench every now and then. But I just about can't even buy oil, filter, etc for what the dealer charges.
